No one who took the field last night deserved less than a 5. It was a great team effort considering the quality of players missing.

Friend seems to be marked so much harder than any other player in the 17 - which is a shame. Meanwhile I suspect others get a few points simply for running onto the field.
Supporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.

Seemed to run more often up the middle than usual I thought.

Friend is the best tackler in our squad , but with the ball in his hand he is predictable and his passes are not going to put anyone into a gap and are generally useless.I thought Matto had his best game for us since joining.

The Funny thing is Pearce used to cop it all the time whether we won or lost, now it's Jake. One day he might go and every carrrnt will have egg on their face just like they do with Pearce.

If I can give Friend a compliment from last night, it's that he didn't try to take the play making upon himself like he has done so many times before when we're down on troops.

He trusted his play makers & allowed them to do their job of creating opportunities .... albeit with a few little mishaps we've come to know him for.

                A compliment for Friend.

Friend is predictable. Rarely runs. I don’t think he is “marked hard “ at all.

Based on average ratings for the season to date, the highest rated players are:

                    1. Victor
                    2. Teddy
                    3. Cordner

The ratings reflect consistency of performance. Fergo is right up there in the ratings, and has 9 games with ratings of 8 or higher (the most in the team) but has had 3 shockers that brought his average down. By comparison, Victor has 7 games of 8 or higher, and Teddy has only 4, but neither have scored low on multiple occasions. Cordner has scored more consistently than some others bringing his rating up.

Cordner is our best tackler and Aubusson next.
