I'd get rid of the rule that you can't win rookie of the year if you've been suspended twice. The suspensions and missing games are punishment enough. I liked Rex Mossop's idea that his man of the match award wasn't a best and fairest, because someone could thrown an inconsequential punch but still be best on field.

Dumb rule preventing Radley from winning the rookie award.
