I think being a quality NRL player means you are consistently good
not occasionally good. You can shove your pie where the sun don’t shine.

Jake’s been pretty good for most of this season. But because he is the designated chookpen scapegoat he has to have an absolute blinder like today for the pen to concede he has had a good game

Jake has shown a steady improvement on his attacking game over the past few weeks. Today was exceptional and what we have been missing. Took a lot of pressure of the halves and straightened our attack. Still has that tendency to push the tight blind side when there's nothing on but played like Superman otherwise. We were organised - they weren't.

Jake had a good game today, when he had one marker his first thought was run not take a few steps and try and ball play. Manly were woeful today and that backline with the exception of a couple of players is reserve grade standard. Let's see how we go in the next few weeks against sterner opposition.
