is Maubs in our best 17 anymore?

I love Maubs and he has been the ultimate clubman for us for so long, and there would be nothing better than giving him another premiership before his time is up with us, but if we are being serious he likely isn't in our best 17 anymore.

unfortunately Robbo seems to be set in stone having Baptiste on the bench, if he does there is no way we can carry Maubs and Baptiste on the same bench.

Radley must start, his link play has made a massive difference to our attack.

Matterson's bigger body and higher workrate earns him the final bench spot.

I think all of us would have Maubs on the bench instead of Baptiste, but Robbo seems to want the dummy half insurance policy Baptiste provides.

I think Matterson has supplanted Aubs for the amount of defence he gets through and the bigger body. Does a lot of head on hits and still around for the clean ups. Aubo still covers more positions on field than any other Roosters so I would keep him on a bench for that alone and leave Baptiste out of the 17. But that doesn't seem the way the staff are going. Napa is not being missed atm and the forward attack looked sharper without him. But Collins still a bit too raw, Butcher still developing and Farmer surely needs more endurance, so Napa is not under threat.

I'm stating the obvious but Radley is a better option to fill in at DH if needed. Maubs can do it as well

SOS is a better choice on the bench than Baptiste too. Don't get me wrong Baptiste hasn't done much wrong but we have better options and would be better off with an utility on the bench than a DH who only plays 15mins
