Might be "interesting" to see whats planned for us next season..
All,
The most important question to ask the membership team is HOW MANY GAMES ARE WE PLAYING OUT OF THE SCG?
I hope i'm wrong but my intel suggests a paltry 4-6 which is a cop out no matter how they try to smooth it over. I bet they're not going to halve the yearly membership fee for half the amount of games either.
Apparently more info will come to light but the board have agreed to play more games at the Central Coast + Adelaide + WA. Smack in the chops for those Sydney fans who've been loyal over many years.

Completely agree - i have been a season ticket holder since 2002 and didn't think i would ever not be since - but if we only have 6 games in the local area i won't be doing it next year or until the new ground is complete. I don't understand the trend to keep taking more games slowly to other regions such as Adelaide and the CC and still increasing our prices year after year. I know a lot on here think the SCG is a crap ground to watch from and in some respects it is, that's for sure - but it's in our heartland and 100 times better than CC as result which is a 100 times better stadium to watch a game of RL from if we take location out of the equation. Locality is the most important factor in making members happy with the temporary home ground in my opinion.
SCG - used to be hard watching the game there as when the play was on the other side off the field all you could see was the players from the waist up. Have to play there though as corporate sponsors wont tolerate being based at any other ground such as Henson Park for instance - no corporate boxes

I actually think this would be a smart move by the club to only play 6 games at SCG. We already have members stating they wont renew season tickets because of how poor a venue it is for spectators. I personally have no real desire to watch any games from there Taking games to CC and Aeliade and Perth in this period of nomadacy (if that is a word) makes sense to me. Of course when the new ground is built we should not be taking any games away from what will be a fantastic Rugby League venue.
When you trust your television
what you get is what you got
Cause when they own the information
they can bend it all they want
I hate the idea of losing games to other venues when the SCG becomes our home but either way I will always buy a membership and support the club I love.
9 games scg - the seating is pretty good actually. They had the field all set up and Roosters bannering on all the led stuff around the ground - it’s looks heaps better than I thought. They are talking one game to Brisbane and the usual Adelaide and Gosford games - so only one less at Moore park than currently- pretty good result.

If that holds true, that's better than what i had been informed.
For season ticket holders who aren't familiar with the SCG or couldn't attend todays tour, your seating choices is either the eastern side = Bill O'Reilly Stand (looking into afternoon sun) or the western side = Brewongle Stand (full shade).
Bays 6-10 in front of the Bill O'Reilly Stand are not undercover and neither are the ones in front of the Brewongle Stand (roughly Bays 28-34)
