If Wests Tigers wanted Cronk and Tedesco they would have to pay more because they are a rubbish club..1.2Mill each straight from the cap, with no third party agreements.
Cronk and Tedesco may well be on 1Mill at Roosters, but salary cap wise they would be taking up about 800k each which leaves us 800k more than Wests Tigers to buy someone like Angus Crichton.

Honestly, Cows have been one of the most questionable teams over the last decade. They had a year where they had like 6 Kangaroos in their squad (and they still didn't win). Even now they have the same rule... only recruit internationals for your pack (Taumalolo, Cooper, Scott, McLean, Granville...etc).

Gotta remember as well that Coote is on $1M a year too (+ a cheap house for him and another one from his parents... both were well below market value and purchased directly from a club sponsor). Who is Coote? Yeah he is out but they had a kiwi international FB and Hampton (who the Storm couldn't afford to keep) so no million dollar man, worries. You may note that we field legit reserve-grade players and juniors to cover such injuries (e.g. blooding Ikuvalu).

What annoys people is that we win, even when the game is a clear fix. As a Chooks fan I have never felt it, but it must hurt your backside pretty hard knowing the refs have given you the game, you have an international forward pack + half that few other clubs could afford (thanks to a shady property developer) and you are still within wooden spoon territory. What went wrong there?

The only consistent thing about Finch is his inconsistency. But I'd rather him a jester on the sidelines than when he actually fronted for us. Back then I though him more a galah than a finch.

Vautin, O'meley, Mason, Robinson, Matt Mcllwrick, Justin Carney, Ryles, Tansey and there are plenty more that I consider worse than Finch. In saying that I am no great fan and think Ricky was a F***wit for moving Wing from Halfback but he was far from the worst player we have ever had.
