Did you see my thread about Trent's coaching credentials? It caused quite a storm on this forum.
Against a team that is fighting for a wooden spoon while we are in with chance of a minor premiership, he dishes up that crap. SOS should have come on for

      Yes I seen it.

My point is slightly different against the strategy of naming an "insurance" bench player and only using 16 players.

I didnt ageee with Matto being subbed though, and prob think Sully wasnt the right bench option.

Really keen on this match. I think the outcome (not just the result) will show just how far away we are from a premiership. We were absolutely exposed and dominated around the ruck through speed and enthusiasm last game. Our middle third d looked like under 20s against men last time we played them. I just want to see our big men improve from that game and limit cooks influence. Cook would have to be the dally m this year for me.

The consensus seems to be that we need to de-fuse Cook. My question is what tactics should be used to this end .. do we assign one specific player to him... two players... Que?

You can't base your gameplan around one player. But they will need to win the ruck and the markers are going to have to work.

The Bunnies pack made no errors against the Storm, can that happen again?
We should make amends for round 6 and our solid defence to stop their deep attacking raids.
              ..it’ll be interesting to see

They made no errors in 55 minutes and scored 24 unanswered points while throwing the ball around like the Harlem globe trotters. Those pesky rabbits will be in for a rude shock come Friday night.

                  No excuses.

It’s not an excuse it’s fact. Like injuries and suspensions, it all plays a part in winning. A tough game one week can affect a team’s performance the following week, as does injuries like Keary’s Injury. You do believe we would be better off with Keary over Matterson?

All of the tries scored against us in the last 3 games have been primarily been in the middle. Get Matto back to middle and put aubbo at 6, and bring Butcher on the Bench.

                          We dont respect touch footballers.
Get JWH, Napa or Radley to take him out. Smash him. Hammer him with the markers. Force the game managers to give us the same "10" they give the vermin.
Hope we get a fair go?

There used to be a stat on whether teams won or lost the week after playing specific teams. e.g. How many teams won the following week after playing the Roosters? The point of the stat is to demonstrate that some teams take a lot more out of the opposition.

I couldn't be bothered going through all teams, but this is how the Cows fair against the top 8.
                            Sharks - 4
                            Cows - 5
                            Warriors - 6
                            Storm - 7
                            Panthers - 8
                            Roosters - 9
                            Souths - 10
                            Broncos - 13
                            Dragons - 14

Now consider that we made 350+ tackles against Taumololo, Scott, Hess, etc, and only have 6 days recovery. If it is an intense game against Souths we will struggle at the backend of each half.
