Couldn’t care less about the minor premiership, as long as we are in the top four, preferably 2nd, that’s fine with me
    EASTS TO WIN!

Really looking forward to this one. I got box seats thru work as well.

Pretty sure that if we beat them it will be our 100th victory over the vermin

You are right QWERTY but Phil Gould just triggered me the other night with his unbearable spruiking of souths it was just incredibly crap, yeah they did well but i dont think Melbourne really challenged them defensively, plus souths got a nice leg up in the penalty count. You would have thought that they had between them by 30 points by the way he was carrying on, reality is there was only one try in it.

I think we need to fix our defense or face a loss against the vermin. Too many defensive lapses against the cows and also dumb errors which let them score two tries.

I'm quietly confident. Matto played at 6 last week and the wheels didn't fall off.

Gus is spruiking Souths partly because he thinks Penrith are a serious chance and wants them to fly under the radar. He won with Canterbury in the 80s with a team that played under adversity and flew under the radar and he's hoping the Panthers get a turbo charge from a change at the top. Presumably Gus will have his hands all over this team for the rest of the season.

If we can neutralise Cook, partly by assuming that he's going to dummy and run and just tackle him, we'll go alright.

Apparently GI is playing this week, looks like we will have to break both thumbs now.

To neutralise Cook we need to hurt their big forwards so they can’t get a quick play the ball. Cook only runs off a quick play the ball. But not even Melbourne could manage to slow them down at the ruck.

                            Good on him.
Deserves a big crowd and could potentially be a dress rehearsal for the big dance.
                            ..it’ll be interesting to see
