  • Music played by the Vermin during Friday’s game

Anyone else notice the music played at certain times on Friday? When the Roosters ran out on the field, they played the Darth Vader theme from Star Wars. When we were kicking for goal they played “Money” by Pink Floyd or “Money” by The Flying Lizards.

If we host them in a preliminary final, what tunes should we use for them? I’m thinking...

    - the Benny Hill theme
    - “Show Me Your Teeth” by Lady Gaga

    any other suggestions?

Yeah when they show Crowe in the stand on the big screen they should play You are soul by Doug Mulray.

I thought I would be the only one who knew "The Flying Lizards". My parents played that song a lot when I was a kid and it was one of my favourites.

On topic, disgusting behaviour by a disgusting club.

I noticed that and thought it was poor form and quite disrespectful of the Roosters. Can't see the Roosters stooping to that level should the two teams meet again this year.

No matter what song was being played, every stop in play the music was blasting out. After about 10 minutes it becomes very irritating. What is it at some of these grounds? Can’t the home crowds amuse themselves for a few seconds without loud music to keep them entertained? Brookvale was just as bad.

Pretty funny, just shows how jealous they are of always being known as our disgruntled hillbilly cousins from the crap part of town.

Watching it on TV I heard Money Money by ABBA and I thought, is that a dig out us? Well at least they're not playing Money too tight to Mention because that is their clubs motto.

Totally agree RoosterChick. It's lowest common denominator stuff. I noticed it on Friday night, too. Of course, it cued the Souths supporters to mindlessly repeat the "Salary cap sombrero" stuff that amuses so many dummies. Jealousy is a curse! Go Easts.

What a Fool Believes The Doobie Brothers as the phone chucker reads his later chapter from the “Book of Fools”

Or when souths run out the following

Frenzal Rhomb - Russel Crowe's Band / Team – interchanging the words comes quite naturally as you sing along

Even worse is the growling cat noise at Panthers games.
