Dont normally get to listen Rooster radio but I did today and they had an interview with Hugh McGahan one of my all time favourite Rooster. He’s got some good things to say about Latrell and Victor so if you haven’t heard it I recommend it.

It was back in 1987 when I was 20 & I just remember seeing Hugh McGahan more than once walking from his car which was parked inside Henson Oval to the sheds before the big games against Manly & Souths. It was bloody brutal & Hugh was in the thick of it.
What a tough bastard he was for the Roosters.
He had a permanent fat lip, no bullshit.
That Latrell & Victor go pretty good too.

I enjoyed his stories of how he was lucky to join our club and the old stories. Impressed with what he said about Latrell. But as for the show I liked their intro and assessment of the game v Souths. Very objective and in no way any signs of bias.

Roosters Radio is fun. The one with Mark Beetson a year or so ago was also great.
If if you like footy podcasts, 5th and Last is the Gold Standard. Trust me: you won’t regret it.
Two brothers who who got up to 20’s (I think) at Penrith and Canberra (respectively), who had career-ending injuries talk footy. They watch every match, every week.
One brother coaches Harold Matt’s or Ball at the Tigers I think.Making Steve Naughton look like Vince Mellars...
