If there's a positive it's that we didn't lose the second half by much. We had to play with twelve men for twenty minutes. And take out the Tupou bumbling and we may even have been competitive.
Thanks to Teddy, Manu and Fergo we looked dangerous at times.
But - they owned us in the middle without JWH. Friend was exhausted and offered nothing in attack.
In fact Wally and Joey were both saying that the Roosters desperately need another attacking option out of dummy half. Wally admitting that Jake has done plenty of good things in the past but now offering little to keep the opposition guessing. Joey agreed 100%. Coming from Immortals now.

Didn't deserve to win, our forward's were shit, yes they put on some big hits but gawd we miss Jared's carries, we were too busy trying to go around them not wanting to earn the right by owning the middle and they defended that easily enough... As far as winning the MP we were the masters of our own demise and wouldn't be suprised if we get bundled out in the second week.

Honest question - how many blokes have been sent to the bin for a high tackle this year? Is it only napa?
Mclough dummies and step into the tackle you can see napa sets himself and drives up.
How in the world they missed the Shepard when latrell gets his time in the bin is beyond me i am pretty sure the ref was right there.
i know our blokes played pretty awful tonight but I cant see our guys getting any kind of role whilst the other team gets to do what ever they want in the ruck.
We base a lot of our play around getting a quick play the ball and we are just not being allowed to do so Canberra did it last week and the Broncos did the same this week.
it's really frustrating to watch I would hate to think what the players are feeling.

So 16 and 8 is great in comparison should we win next week.

We just have way too many bad habits to make it past the finals. Errors 15-4 and terrible completion rate just won’t cut it when the finals come round. How is it other teams can only have 4 errors and 90% completion rates while we can’t???“Soon will the present day order be rolled up, and a new one spread out in its stead”- (Baha’u’llah)

A second chance is no guarantee, nor is a home final.
If we’re good enough, we win the Premiership.
We have the squad, it’s up to them.

I think our season’s over or when we reach the finals. We just can’t seem to cope with the pressure.Last edited by roosterchook; 08-25-2018, 11:52 PM.“Soon will the present day order be rolled up, and a new one spread out in its stead”- (Baha’u’llah)
