Toddy was in 2010 and could be again next year the best 5/8 in the game. U can't sack a 5star talent like him and expect to achieve
the dizzy heights of 2010. He needs a minder and the Roosters could afford it and it would be well worth it if he got us to the 2012
grand final. Players of his talent don't come along very often, the last one we had was Freddy. the years after he retired were pretty
dim. Wasn't till Carney came along that we became a force again.

Anyway, it's all academic, he's gone..."we can't have a person like that at our club".
The decison was just delayed for some reason, the media statement said he/his manager requested it, some people are not buying that.
Carney Is a good slice of his managers income, why would he not want Carneys availability to be known to the rugby league world ?

I reckon if we put him in the NSW cup and wait for him to find some form and discipline, he could be a great attacking asset to the team that doesn't let down our defense. He did a good job at the start of 2010 as well.
A good job? He was like a fish out of water at fullback

Totally not cut out for the position

He didn't break any laws, or break the NRL's code of conduct, so the NRL must allow him to find another NRL club if he can.

            ...or stand condemned!

He can play fullback if focused. With 6 dedicated forwards, Braith at 6, Jnr Jnr at 7, a '2010' Carney at 1, premiership contenders.
