Well Braith has pretty much written us off due to our forward pack and weak bench..

I agree. We have a weak bench and with Napa out we are short a front rower. Even with Napa in we are still short a front rower. Got dominated in the pre-lim last yeat yet we don’t recruit a front rower and we allow our depth forward Evans to leave. We are relying very heavily on Jarred to lead the way once again. I love Aubo but he has had his worst year to date this year. Has made very little impact. And there is tiny Butcher who isn’t big enough for NRL.

Makes you wonder why we didn’t try and add another depth front rower to our squad after last years Prelim loss to the Cowboys..

I know FPN was bought in but that seems more like a sentimental move as opposed to a strategic signing.

I agree that with or without Dylan we were at least one prop short, hope it doesn’t bite us on the backside again.

Interesting that the pundits are now writing the Roosters off, but they are still clear premiership favourites with the bookies.

Cannot carry both Butcher and Aubbo on the bench. Need some size and impact.

              14. Matterson
              15. Collins
              16, maubs
              17 the farmer

maubs versility over butcher. Too small for both. Thoughts?
the FARMER could be a finals POD

Aubbo yes because he can play anywhere whereas Butcher is limited. We SHOULD still win but nothing about Butcher that will makes us think he’ll come up with a big play. Robbo seems to me like his reverting back to his ‘play safe’ tactics.

Sharks always look like a safe bet, since Holmes has been fullback, added woods, wade graham fully fit, they have been as good as anyone. Can’t remember sharks having bad losses where they are never in the game.

                      I absolutely love it.

They've written us off after two meaningless losses - a common theme for Premiership winning teams before the finals.

But Souffs who have lost 3 in a row and given up lots of tries are still sweet apparently. Go figure.

Thank you NRL pundits. Keep up the good work so we can fly under the radar.

I hope your right Jack and as far as im concerned anasta was one of the clubs worst signings ever, the money he was on for the input he brought he was on a good wicket all right and it galls me to have to agree with him about the bench. They are pretty lightweight and we are going up against the Burgess bros and a few other big boppers without our hitman napa, its not a great bench.

Souffs bench is worse than ours.

Who does have a powerful bench? Maybe Brisbane with young Fifita and Ofahengaue are the only ones in the finals.

Sharks, Broncos and Storm have the big bench forwards. Souths seem to be resting Tatola this week and have Nichols and Musgrove back first week of semis which gives them size. We just need to give early ball to Keary, Teddy and Mitchell throughout the game to combat our lack of size in the middle.

I agree Tommy, even though our bench is thin I don’t think any team in the 8 has a bench that stands out (maybe Sharks) an exception..

Just another bit of garbage coming out of one of the most overrated individuals to put on a Rooster jumper..

If his talents matched his big mouth he would be an immortal right now!
