  • Round 25 2013

Remember how you felt after Rd 25 2013 after back to back losses to sharks and titans (ffs).

Now remember how you felt five weeks later

its a long way from over people. We only need to beat parra and we finish top 2.

    Go you mighty chooks

This is true. I believe we only need to play at about 80% of our ability and we can win the comp. The thing is come this time of year we have that howler in us when we're at about 40% and teams get us. I just hope we have that extra gear to go to in the next few weeks , which we havent had since 2013

Although hasn’t been mentioned and not making excuses but it’s the first wet weather game we have played in a while and not surprisingly lost..

I admit we need to win in all types of conditions but wet weather always makes it that much harder for our ferrari’s In the backline,I’m not surprised we lost at all..

Mate I was at the ground. There was no rain whatsoever. Hardly any wind either. Perfect conditions for footy.

I couldn't agree more. The last two games have been meaningless.

                2013 Roosters: lost 2 of last 3
                2014 Souffs: lost 2 of last 3
                2015 Cowboys: lost 3 of last 5
                2016 Sharks: lost 4 of last 6

Seriously no one will care about rnds 24 or 25 in a fortnight.

We got through without an injury. That's the win.

The real comp starts this week for us.

We got through with no injuries Tommy but Napas possible suspension will be a loss..

We just can’t seem to run out a full strength team this year.

The way Napa has been playing this year I'd prefer Butcher.

Our two best wins this year vs Manly and Dragons b2b were without him I think??

Contrast that to how much we've missed JWH.

Agree with you Tommy,JWH is the one we miss most.

Napa has missed the Titans,Manly and Dragons games which we looked so impressive,so you have a valid point.

Lets see how it pans out now that Napa is out for 3 weeks..

The comp is so open this year it will be vital to win that first semi and getting a week off. Winning 3 games against the top teams is going to be hard for anyone and some of our boys really look like they need a week off to get over some niggles.

Parramatta have been awful the last couple of weeks. Wonder how they'll go when they play a team that doesn't get a thousand penalties.

I’m sure the opposition prefers Butcher too.

I agree with the vibe of this thread. We'll give it a shot.

How about the score at Kogarah: 38 - 0. Brings a sentimental tear to the eye.
