Beale's defence is easily better than Cooper's, and he is more suited to league in my opinion.

His jig to off put a defender is better than Gasnier's ever was.

Cooper's defence is woeful
Beale's defence was woeful early in his career, but he's improved dramatically the last 2 seasons, and at least now he will put his body on the line (unlike Cooper).
As an aside, we need a forward that played like Dan Vickerman on Sat night. He was a human missile.
Faingaa brothers and Conrad Smith would make good leaguies.

When he left league he was the best player in the comp and nothing suggests that's changed and he has been relative injury free, I wouldn't be upset if we signed him, Cooper would be a better signing though

Genia would be a rake if he came to league, and even then he'd struggle with the defensive workload.
