Don't think he is worth the circus that rides in to town with him.

Like Carney, will be great short term but will end in tears.

Nothing would surprise me, especially with our history of recruiting anything with a big name. Imagine roosters-bulldogs matches!!! Haha it'd be feral.

As I wrote before, if they throw a truckload of cash at Dollar Bill Williams then that will confirm that we have mental defectives running this club.

A step in the wrong direction.

Having said that, it'd be pretty incredible.

As if we need some self-involved, mercenary, disciple of Mundine to come and pollute this great club. Been there, done that and we're still feeling the effects.

This is surely a media beat up. We get linked to every player on the market, especially the controversial ones. Honestly, the youth policy is setting us up nicely and I doubt the admin will wander down that road of big player signings again.

At the right price yes. He's a big game player and I'd much rather play with him than against him. If he is pricey though probably not.

That's a laugh.. Pearce would not have 1/10 his playmaking ability or vision..

Pearce's selective passing and and organising skills are up there with the best. They're definitely plamaking traits afaic.

His lack of creativity means he'll always be underrated by those who don't have a full appreciation of the role of a traditional halfback.

I wasn't comparing the two, and I agree - Genia is infinitely more talented than Pearce.

But Genia's creativity has been fostered around the base of a ruck. He isn't a half - he could potentially become one, but it would take a while.

His kicking game is one of the worst and his running game is dreadful.. I think you don't understand the role of the halfback. Creativity especially when Anasta has so little is vitally important.. He was able to hum along whilst Carney sparked the attack but alongside someone like Anasta who also has a poor running game and creativity he is like a deer in front of a set of headlights.

                              what, like Kevin Hastings?

Guess what 6? The game's changed since then

Pearce's lack of creativity simply means we have a half who is not creative, and if anything adds weight to claims he is OVERRATED, you muppet

Combine that with your old mate the 5/8 who isn't creative either, and you have a shit set of halves (the slowest halves combo in the comp) who don't threaten the opposition themselves and don't create space for their outside men

Our attack struggles, and we need spark from our halves. From Pearce and Anasta, we simply don't get it. That's why we can't score more than 12 points a game - our attack is farked

                              Pearce is a complete myth

Where do you get this idea that Pearce is slow?

He's pretty bloody quick for a halfback. Could work on his acceleration, but he's quick once he hits top speed.
