Now that the refs have been named, well, I'm not feeling it either. The Roosters are going to have to be very very good to take them out of the equation.

Good post Louis...some interesting similarities as you say.

i always rated Chicka the best winger Ive seen. Blakes a big body with surprisingly great agility and his shove this year has been incredible.

Ricky had brilliant hands and plenty of mongrel unlike Cooper...but Coops is his own self made elite player.

John Ferguson. He was my favourite to watch too Jack. Anything was possible. Loved it when he came over from Newtown and was sorry to see him leave us. Best I've seen was Ken Irvine with Norths but didn't get to see enough of him.

Regarding the Canberra comparison the backlines were similar but the forwards not as much. Just a pity we don't have Steve Walters running from dummy half. A few years ago Friendy played a similar game and JWH was as playing like Lazarus.
