One of our home games transferred to North Sydney Oval?
      Yes please!
One to Nth Sydney..one to Central Coast...Adelaide is ridiculous, AFL central...too far away and way too costly for fans.
      I agree!
Scrap the Central Coast game and move it to NS Oval. Makes great sense.

I would say they have improved over the years but it would still be harder than most fields.
Reserve grade needs to harden up...……

The Roosters are a rich club & should have their own 2nd grade team likes Souths have.
Yep Souths will have a Souths 2nd grade team playing in the Intrust Super Premiership cup next year thats why they split from Norths.

On the Souffs web site, they say they broke the contract with the bears. They have the money to field all teams in their colours?

Souths are rich so we should all hate them now.

go to love Souths view. Both parties had the shits with each other and Souths had no other options but to run it themselves. There was a lot of pressure from the old boys to do it as well

Good move! North’s have a good healthy junior base themselves which we can tap into.

Souths NRL club won’t be paying into their feeder club the Souths juniors will. Rusty doesn’t put a dollar into that club he is a tight ass. All their money comes from football club revenues and memberships. The Souths juniors are a huge club with all the wealth and Souths NRL have joined with them to run the pathways from kids league all the way up to NRL. Souths don’t have the spare cash to run a junior league and a reserve grade.

James Packer bought out Holmes a Court's share a few years back didn't he?

Their money doesn't come from Leagues Club pokies, it comes from a farking big casino. FWIW who bought the pokies licenses from the Souffs leagues clubs? Packer on the cheap? :P

Rusty is farking broke as far as rich people go and couldn't afford to bankroll the club. He would not be anywhere near as wealthy as Politis or Bouris.

Don't forget that SOuths NRL owe Souths juniors millions and millions of dollars
Surprised that Souths Juniors put their hands up to run it , but I think a lot of pressure from the old time supports brought this to bear. The Juniors is run by dinosaur minded old blokes

I am no South Sydney supporter but this i will say Crowe has sunk more money, sacraficed more personally into the club he loves than nearly all of us ever will.. Sure we take the piss out of him whenever possible because it is Souths but if more people were as passionate as he is on a club management / ownership level the financial plight of most of the other NRL clubs would be very different. On Packer I believe his alliances with Crowe were only matter of Packer being introduced to Crowe's Hollywood associates to further his RatPac interests at the time.

The inclusion of Norths as our feeder team can allow us to expand and be a truly Sydney side if ever there was a reduction in Sydney teams. Plus we can actively market to and juniors on the North side which reaches quite some way west.
Luke Keary would be a product of that region.
                              ..it’ll be interesting to see

Yet Crowe canned the pokies at souffs leagues on a moral stance?
