  • Judgement time

Cronk's time has come. This is where we tell if he was an astute investment. It's from this game on that he will be judged as a player for us, this is why we got him. Time to take us to that next level Cronk, get the job done

Not putting any pressure (PSYCHE!) on Cooper Cronk, or anything (PSYCHE! PSYCHE!) and not (PSYCHE!) wanting him to (PSYCHE! PSYCHE! PSYCHE!) fail (PSYCHE!).

But sure, this is finals time and we're looking to all our players to do the job.

There's no such thing as signing a player to garentee a premiership. If Cronk plays well and doesn't dissapear like his predecessor often did, it will boost our chances considerably................................but anything can happen, and we'll be up against it like always. We get less help than melbourne, that's for sure.

If our forwards don't hold their own, it won't matter who plays halfback.

Thought Cronk was huge last night, probably MOTM.

That field goal should be hung in an art gallery; it was a thing of beauty. The right play was to go for 1, but if he misses the Sharks gets seven tackles. Lewis, still one of the canniest players in the NRL charges out, Cronk beats him, sees that no one else has run up and has the presence of mind and the skill to slot it over.

That field goal aside, he was huge. Setting up tries with kicks, getting people in the right positions, calming people down ...
