I just don’t like seeing anyone in a Roosters jersey being thrown around like a rag doll. Radley has a huge heart so he’s the exception. Can’t fault Butcher’s effort though.

What a shame we can’t just enjoy a win rather than have to worry about injuries and suspensions. Really takes the gloss off what was a great night for the club.

This is our game these days, you feel such a high when your team wins and then get bought down through injured players or judiciary lottery decisions that can cost you..

It is such an emotional roller coaster but unfortunately the game we follow.

Quote below from NRL Physio on Twitter regarding SST..

“For Sio Siua Taukeiaho concern for left lateral ligament sprain as foot rolls on Shark players’ foot here. Often look worse than it is, likely low grade so very good signs for his availability in 2 weeks time”

It highlights again that we are a team that never feigns or exaggerates an injury onfield to gain an advantage.

Im really proud we dont though...Sharks, Broncos, Dragons are all good at it and shameless about it. There are others too Im sure.

Sst should be right for our next game. He was on the exercise bike after the injury.
Napa will be firing for the grand final.
The club will fight the charge on Mitchell. I think our quietness in the napa case may have been a deal / hand shake agreement?

Sydney Roosters medical staff have assessed the Qualifying Final squad following Saturday's match against the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks at Allianz Stadium.

Siosiua Taukeiaho was forced from the field in the opening ten minutes of the game after experiencing some discomfort in his ankle.

Scans have confirmed he sustained an ankle lateral ligament sprain.

It's expected that he will be fully fit for our Preliminary Finals match to be played the week prior to the NRL Grand Final.

The remaining squad members made it through the match without injury concern and will all be available for selection in the Preliminary Final.

For mine Latrell's tackle looked less dangerous on replays and was more related to Dugan's positioning. And we know Dugan's tendency to lay down after tackles and to feign for a penalty. Not saying that it wasn't uncomfortable but it was the commentary team that blew the tackle up, eager to sensationalise. If he does get suspended for one game I still feel we can win our way through and have him for the big one. Hopefully it doesn't get to that.
