Grain of salt people. He's there to commentate on the game not on who's his favourite or least favourite club. If you listen closely, you'll find that he also gives it to all other clubs when they're not performing well. With the panthers he usually opts out from making any comments but if needed he will which is understandable since his the boss. As for tonight, I didn't find anything wrong with what he said especially when we were under the pump in that second half. Do you want him and all others to be showering our team with praise when it's not deserved? He has to be objective no matter if it hurts your feelings.

Gould was particularly anti-roosters today. Though to be honest, if he was anti-roosters, but still could commentate well, i wouldn't give two hoots. But he cant do that. He is past his prime. Just like Ray Warren, though im quite sad about that

If you ask other fans they'll tell you they're sick of the hype all the Roosters players get from Nine, and Fox....and Donald Trump too...They can't win. Much like the refs all being against their club. People should stop magnifying comments from these guys and taking it personally.

A good win to our boys, but we still manage to continue to shoot ourselves in the foot, but making major blunders every game, such as Friends usual forward pass, that may of cost Keary scoring a try, Tredesco and Topau not calling who's ball it is, and risky neck crunching tackles, that are totally unacceptable, risking injuring players for life, our club has to ban these type of tackles. The week off will be good, I don't think tonights form will be good enough to beat the Storm, but I'am sure that cane lift the bar, and get the job done.

Gould is notorious for pointing out the obvious in matches. He literally talks up whatever team is winning and deathrides the team trailing. It is the most annoying style of commentary.

I refuse to watch channel 9 unless I am forced to, like SOO etc. I cannot handle either of them on the microphone! And yes I agree about Blocker Roach too. It’s a miracle he is still on live commentary! I don’t mind him on controversy corner but that’s where I draw the line. Maybe the solution is volume down with Cannibal Corpse in the background?

I didn’t watch the nine coverage. I like it ad free on FOX but I do have to say that the FOX panel we’re doing their best after the game to highlight Latrell’s supposed crusher tackle so it would gain recognition with the MRC. Very annoying. I expected as much from Ennis but to hear it from Mal was very disappointing.

I don't want to be unfair to Gus, but I have to say he is a very fat old queer with a severe alcohol and gambling problem. He pretends to be friends with Uncle Nick, but that is only because Nick paid off his massive gambling debts as part of the deal to bring him to Easts in the 90s. The team he had back then was good enough to win a title, but his emotional instability and erratic nature must have rubbed off on the team.

He has never forgiven our success since his departure.

His biased, vindictive commentary ramblings are a disgrace but most of all an embarrassment to himself.

He really should shoot himself.
