im obviously in the minority here, what latrell did was stupid and deserved a week , more clear cut then the second napa incident, it was a shocking tackle and i would expect any player from any club to be suspended over it , im expecting some flames over this post , no im not some troll or a souffs supporter , latrell needs to work on discipline, fantastic player, but this was a complete brain fade on his part im afraid

Let’s be clear with why he is suspended.

Its due to the carry over points from the week before, if he didn’t have any carryover points than his charge from the weekend would mean he doesn’t miss any games.

In theory Roosters would of had more chance in fighting the week before a charge.

On a positive side, he won't get hurt or suspended next week and will be available for the Grand Final.
Maybe they can send him home to Taree, to freshen up again for a few days, like post Origin.

We were the only team both last year and this year who could stop the storm but we are being deliberately interfered with & weakened by the CORRUPT NRL so there can be only a Slater fairytale outcome.

I hope Sean Garlick gets some peace from his participation in inconveniencing us. Why do you suppose Sean didn't have enough to satisfy his wife, causing her to sleep around while married to him. Surely it doesn't matter that much that he has such a tiny pie down there? Or does it? I will never know the feeling of humiliation he must have suffered and I forgive him for taking it out on our club even after all this time. It appears old wounds and feelings of revenge never die. It doesn't matter though, we'll still win. And Sean will still be a disgraced, damaged cuckold. Poor Sean.

I actually think he could have beat that cannonball tackle charge as from one angle he hit the player high and slipped down. I've mentioned this before and I think we should challenge a lot of these suspensions earlier in the year instead of taking early guilt pleas as they come back to bite you on the backside when it matters in the finals. It's done now time to move on next man up and get the job done in the prelim final. If we do make it to the grand final Mitchell owes us a big game for a couple of completely unnecessary actions.

Agree with you 100% Jack. Sure it helps having Latrell on board as he is such a weapon, but success in the prelim doesn't hang on his presence or absence. And who know what will happen this weekend to whichever squad we face.
