I'm torn. Great player on his day who can win you big matches on his own. But then I think to myself all the baggage, or at least all the perceived, drummmed up by the media baggage he would bring. For that kind of money we could sign two very good players to the squad.

I have to agree.

Why wouldn't we want one of the best players in either code playing for us.

I'm sure most Roosters fans would love to have Williams playing for us next year but we have many cynical supporters on this forum with their holier than thou sermons straight off the pulpit, Linnet, J.Carney T. Carney Mini, Anasta,Hargreaves, S.K.D.And others have been lambasted mercilessly by many of our members yet we played a grand final last year, we need to sign the best on the market if we want to play another one; I read Bunniesmans preposterous posts and smile, I read posts denigrating our players and wonder whats up with our supporters. Williams for the Roosters next year, and Todd the year after. There is'nt a league club in the world whose supporters would'nt want both of these players on their books... except maybe us.
