Good news, the investigation is moving along well regarding the reprehensible accusations this footy groupie has made against the reputation of Sam Burgess.
With the assistance of the NRL much has been discovered in the last 24 hours.

It will come to the fore shortly and will implicate people who were involved in the set up.

The even better news is that it's 99% certain charges will be laid against this disgraceful person who attempted, with the support and help from others, to ruin a man's family and career.

To give yourselves a better understanding of the charges she will be facing, here is a link about how seriously revenge porn is considered and her possible penalties.
      https://www.stacklaw.com.au/news/cri...-new-laws-nsw/

Now the NSW Crimes Amendment (Intimate Images) Act 2017 has become law, making it a crime to share or record intimate images or videos without consent. Penalties are severe – up to three years’ jail and fines of up to $11,000.

More to come, MUCH more, regarding those who got her to submit these alleged photos of Sam.

      Have a great day guys.
That must be such a great relief for Sam's wife that him showing his private bits to a complete stranger that he flirted with on the internet was all consentual and that this woman tried to ruin their lives.
It will also be a great relief that when their children grow up and google their Dad's history that they too find that this mess created by this woman was all consentual by their Dad and he has nothing to answer for.
Sam is such a role model.
      FFS.

So why did the NRL decide to step in and play God in that instance?

You can defend your Golden boy for as long as you want but the clear facts are the NRL set a precedent with the Mitchell Pearce incident and now they are nowhere to be found..Smells fishy to me though I am sure you will disagree lol
Not my area of expertise but she took a video inside her own house. Nobody needed to give her permission to do that and it wasn't some rapey shot of him in the shower or something.

IMO it all comes back to what sells tickets + advertising $$$. Sam Burgess playing in a preliminary final that's a grudge match against us SELLS TICKETS. Mitchell Pearce missing 8 games (forget how many?) prevents all the big advertisers who are backing the women in League...etc initiatives bailing early on due to the image of a group of men being fukktards inside a woman's private home, contrary to the image they thought their brand would be associated with.

If PR can sweep Burgess' thing under the couch and be like 'well it wasn't illegal, Slamming Sam is sorry but technically he did nothing wrong and now the poor guy is paying for it because his Mrs is angry at him' then they will. IMO they will test the air, talk to Fox/Channel 9 executive, talk to sponsors/big advertisers and then make up their mind. Thing to yourself... which advertisers are gonna bail as a result of this? KFC... probably not. Bundaberg Rum? Probably not. Holden? Probably not. Telstra? Probably not. Fox and Channel 9? NO FUKKING WAY!!! Souffs' Sponsors (i.e. their co-owner's casino?) NO FUKKING WAY!!! Fuji Printers? LOOOL. [Souffs have already decided that having Sam out and losing the preliminary final is the biggest loss to their tickets and advertising $$$] IMO the biggest thing working in Burgess' favour is that most advertisers won't give a shyte and all their fans will still turn up to watch the footy. While it's a really bad look, IMO the NRL will be looking for a solution that gets rid of it by the GF and keeps any complaining advertisers happy (which again - will be few because none are timid, ultra-PC companies with cultural/image problems concerning women). Funnily enough, such companies don't sponsor rugby league.

the evidence is the photos. If you cannot see this then fine. The watch, the toned physiques, the alabaster skin. The brown eye could be anyone granted. What photos are still outstanding? Who knows
if souffs players hide behind legal representation and won’t step forward, then shame on them.
Sadly for you though, a person cannot be convicted on physique or their watch. Legally there needs to be an element of facial recognition, of which there is none at this stage.
There is more than one man on this planet with a good physique and a gold watch.

So then present your proof, provide a photo that shows Sam Burgess doing anything wrong.

Remember with Pearce how the video was everywhere? Something as conclusive as that would be nice.

The police can do their job if they are called in. I'm not aware of any carrent charges being laid.

The issue seems to be that Burgess (a married man) sent some chick a dick pic. She informed Souths and the NRL. When Souffs called her asking to interview her, she refused. This could be for any reason, including that (for example) she doesn't want to jeopardise other investigations.

My opinion is that even if she consented and made a malicious complaint, this is a bad look. Like it or not a lot of people will see the media circus and find the act of cheating on your wife by sending a young lady a dick pic (amongst other things) a disgrace. He shoulda known better and I reckon the NRL should treat this seriously.

Should Burgess be stood down? My thoughts...
              1. If charged by police then ironically no (presumption of innocence and stuff).
              2. If not charged by the cops, it's purely an integrity matter. Like it or not, with the NRL trying its best to promote a female and family friendly product. Instead of anticipating a big women's game followed by an intense preliminary final, fans have been shown a picture of Burgess' todger and him (plus Souffs PR/managment) crying the victim. Fact is he cheated on his wife and NOBODY has claimed there was no consent (that we no of, yet). All they have said is hey... a married celebrity cheated on his wife. Burgess then saying he is the victim because they have sat on their hands and filed a complaint before an important game side-steps the issue. If I were NRL management I would ask him mate... are you married? Are you commited to our women/kids/family friendly policies? Have you attended thousands of PR sessions where we have warned you about not doing stupid shit that could tarnish our image? Mate this is about OUR image and SELLING FARKING TICKETS + EXPENSIVE ADVERTISEMENTS!!! Would you agree that what should be a bottler of a game and a complete sell-out with companies lining up for the advertising opportunity has received nothing but negative coverage thanks to you sharing a picture of your fukking todger? I don't wanna make a decision about this because I will attract media attention by doing so, but you have forced me to do it mate because if I do nothing, we will cop more media criticism at a time where we should be the angels of Fox + Channel 9!!! $400k fine (to be donated to a women's DV shelter) and 160 minutes in the bin for you this season Sonny Jim. NOW GO... OUT OF MY OFFICE YOU PIECE OF SHYTE... SPEND THE OFF-SEASON LIVING IN A MONESTARY OR SOMETHING...

End of the day I would be sacked if I did this and would probably be deregistered from my profession (my workplace values professionalism at all times and provides compulsory social media/security briefings on a regular basis... cheating on my wife would also be a significant strike against my name in relation to honesty/trustworthyness). Burgess makes a lot more than me and is a far more public figure. He will play and the Roosters should just get on with their prep as usual because it will be a fukker of a challenge to win this weekend. However, I think the NRL is full of shyte if they decide to take no further action and allow him to play the victim.

If the NRL (which openly adjusts the weighting of on-field incidents downwards during finals time in order to maintain the competition) is more concerned about an accidental high tackle worth like ~50 points than a bloke cheating on his wife then blaming the woman on the other end for everything then they have their priorities all wrong. When it comes to selling tickets:
              - EVERYBODY wants to see Latrell play!!!
              - Nobody wants to see Burgess' todger.

I wonder. Do the NRL expect us to win? If so, is this a protectionary measure so that Latrell is not suspended for the GF? Let controversy give this game more attention than it would otherwise get (maybe the NRL pulled it out strategically?) then let Latrell sell GF tickets + a heart-throbbing rags to riches story. Will it be the old guard or the rags to riches, exciting new generation? Man I wish somebody paid me to invent conspiracy theories!
              A couple of small corrections.

Sam has never been accused of sending dick pics, if he had it would be an entirely different issue.
The alleged victim took screen shots and sent them to the media.

The alleged victim has also refused to speak with the NRL not just Souths, they very body she wanted to take action.

The interesting thing is that when Sam's children grow up and Google their Dad, they won't find one single photo identifying him as doing anything wrong.

                • Wouldn't it be intriguing if this investigation uncovered payments for the alleged victim's recent holidays to Dubai and South Africa were paid for by a high profile businessman with links to rugby league, as a thank you for services rendered.

The more info I get about this the more interesting it becomes.

                  • Getting a banner made up with a slanted eyed rabbit wearing a watch on his cock holding a phone being scolded by his missus. The graphics look great.
Can’t wait to see it unfurled on Sat night.

You can sack players for bringing the game into disrepute.

Fwiw, I hope Sammy boy plays, so you guys have no excuses if we beat you.

Re your name, you spelt TheBurrow wrong......

For someone so steadfastly saying an individual is innocent and perhaps taking action on a defamation and or revenge porn front you are quite silly.

Your IP address can be be tracked down and your are sailing very close to the wind. It wouldn't surprise me if you get a letter from Uncle Nicks lawyers as the mere suggestion you are making is very untrue and infammatory, Mr Defamation man...

Yes, that would be fascinating, but I have information that the woman in question is not in South Africa, as suggested. She is back in Roswell, has shed her human disguise and will soon be departing Earth for the planet Tralfamadore, along with her lizard leader, Nick Politis.

Do anti-thought control foil hats come in red and green or do you cover yours with a beanie?

No but if creates significant media attention that damages the NRL's brand, they can make a judgment call on whether to take further action.

The NRL is in the business of entertainment and advertising. They do a lot of work with the community because they want to be appealing to women and children. If women and advertisers are really pissed off that a star player has cheated on his wife to the point where it tarnishes the NRL's ability to sell tickets and advertising spots (or reduces their value) then they will go after the source if they reckon it will fix their image.

It's not about whether cheating on your wife is morally wrong - half the married players probably hit up brothels all the time while away with the team (senior players probably help organise it all the time by booking a penthouse for the night with entertainment...etc). It's about whether their actions tarnish the NRL's brand. Some lady of the night quietly knocking on your door and having a confidential shag while in NQ probably doesn't matter to the NRL (they'd know it happens and be in the business of hiding it where possible). The issue is when you do something on social media, you get caught and it becomes a front-page headline for the week leading up to a preliminary final.
