When did he set up a try for the Storm? Takairangi threw a dodgy pass for their first try and he wasn't even on the field for their 2nd try.

The fact he wasn't on the field created the storm try

lol... slug BJ makes hard work of two tries which would have been scored with ease by any speedy wingers and everyone wants to have his child. He showed his true worth as an outside back when both Friend and JWH out-sprinted him in the Duffie try.

A pity there isn't a highlight reel of all the hatrick of tries BJ butchered this year.

Are you talking about the two tries where he had to stop in his tracks and leap in the air to take two shit passes from Mini......yeah. If we had Matt Utai out there both those passes would have sailed into touch.

Very nasty Dice, BJ does it for me, Sometimes slow is a good thing, if you have speed issues Dicey baby, there are nasal medications to help.

i have been saying it since he debuted, he is not a winger, he is a centre or backrower in the SBW mold - athletic, fast, extremely skillful but also very powerful. Like SKD it will only be a matter of moving him a little closer to the ball and into his more traditional positions and he will excel. He mustnt foget that leilua was the best player on tour for the aus schoolboys a couple of years ago and is an absolute prodigy. Bennett is still dirty that we got our mits on him and we are starting to see glimpses of what he can do.

ill add mini to the list as well. really turned back the clock tonight. almost broke the line every time he made a run, those plays we have been trying with him and our halves this year started to come off and he looked a yard faster. it gives me hope for next year when our 3 veterans braith, mini and rylesy put in performances like that.

On another note, whilst i concede that every player is entitled to an off game every so often, that performance by cooper cronk should solidify the point a few of us have been trying to make that he is not the superstar half he is made out to be. An excellent player yes but his strengths are organisation and playing off the back of cam smith with slater on the end of passes making the impossible possible. contrast that to the 8 years younger pearce who completely outplayed cooper tonight and you can see that we have a young half already starting to excel in the exact same mold. Excellent kicking and passing games, good defence, both quite consistent players, both have good leadership traits and both have enough footwork and in the case of pearce, speed, support play and a willingness to take on the line that has presented him with a few tries to date and a few more in the future to come. dont forget, cronk still hadnt debuted at pearces age. pearce has already passed 500 games. all the criticisms of him are quite fair imo but he is not the problem in our side at all. its about playing to our strengths. pearce isnt carney so establishing a game plan that attempts to make him that player is a recipe for disaster

Concentration is not a strong point for us hot brunettes

OOps did i say that out loud

no not saying that just having read countless posts recently about how much we need cronk, i thought last night proved that this is not the case as pearce outplayed him on the night and is showing to have the makings of a player in the cronk mold but with a few other aspects of his game (most notably his speed and footwork) that might set him ahead of cronk in the years to come

That's it deflect blame on Mini. Is it also Mini's fault that Friend outsprinted BJ? Or that even Masoe left BJ for dead in a sprint a couple weeks ago?

Isn't BJ coming back from a dodgy hamstring????

Mini has the worst passing game in history

I find your criticism of BJ hard to swallow

So who's fault is it mini threw shit passes???

                                Great work BJ
