Shit winger, who played a couple of good games all year.
Hopefully he gets pushed into the backrow next year where he doesn't have to make a lot of defensive decisions and can get rid of his stupid offloads.
When you put those finishes into perspective of he's not a winger it just shows how much raw talent he actually does have.

BJ drops those crap mini passes last night and the lynch mob would be out in force.
He has been by far the worst affected by rubbish passing and a pedestrian kicking game

BJ was awesome yesterday. Many here see him as a backrower whereas I see his immediate future in the centres. Since he moved off the wing he has improved considerably. 2012 could be a big year for the young man. Lets just hope Brian Smith does not play him out of position again all year.
Also all of his tries yesterday happened after he received the ball not too far from the line. Each time he found it deftly. However, ass we have seen all year he simply lacks the pace from much further out.

Quite simply it is your boy who provides most if those shit passes and woeful kicks.
Pearce is an Origin player, with 100 1st grade games undr his belt , future international / Roosters legend and immortal, according to his fans and experts( dads mates) he does no wrong, can do no wrong and has been our best this season.
BJ is a young Centre / backrower playing out of position on the wing with 20 odd games under his belt.
This is not Pearce bashing thread, but i am happy to continue with the bullshit if you are, oh blind one.

I think he would be very dangerous in the centres if he is given early ball. The move he put on Nielsen was first class.Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.

A shit winger he is certainly. No doubt about his talent though.

So basically, you're saying Pearce is shit, and should be better given his experience?
In typical fashion, you simply assert that Pearce is shit without backing anything up; where are these shit passes and kicks? Rooster_6 posted in another thread Pearce's stats: in a team coming near bottom, he's third for try assists and second for line break assists, or vice-versa. Our points percentages and winning percentages are also significantly greater when Pearce plays.
Now, think about where Pearce would rank if he'd had eager backrowers and threatening centres running at holes all year? Or if he'd had a 5/8 sharing some of the workload? Or hell, maybe this is too much to expect at this club these days... if he'd had a full team putting in as much as he does, as opposed to one or two trying their guts out (of whom BJ is probably one), while the rest couldn't give a fuuck?
Pearce is not my "boy." I just find your incessant bagging of him baseless, boring and idiotic, and then to go and make a thread like this about BJ... well that's just plain hypocritical.
I look forward to the next post of randomly highlighted bits and pieces, baseless assertions and hypocrisy.

Did you see two of the tries he scored on Sunday night???
As for his reads in defence, we are talking about a 19 year old kid.
He is furlongs in front of Soliola. In fact, they are not even in the same race.Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.

Hard to see him getting too much game time next season. Will have to play centre or wont make the cut. Depending on the whole carney saga and with sbw rumoured, possibilty of maubbs in the centres is high. Although I would much prefer to see maubbs back in the second row.

Any other winger wouldn't have needed the fancy put down to score those two tries. There was no fancy put down in the Souths game because he was pushed into touch a few centimetres before the line. Any other winger would have won us the game.
