Slater plays...their best team is playing...and ours is not.
We needed our best team to be fit, well, and playing to their best potential to win...seems to me.

Oh well, something should've been done about the 'open season' on Cronk way back in March...it wasn't, now look what we have today.
If only our players had 'rioted' on the field every time he was smashed/bashed illegally...like players in other teams did.
If only our club had 'rioted' in press conferences about it.

    Oh well, maybe next year.
Roosters currently $2.05. If Slater plays and Cronk doesn't we'll drift big time. I'll still back us.

"Do you expect me to talk"? "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die".

    • Judiciary chairman Geoff Bellew has asked panel members to consider the following.

      1. Was there forceful contact with the shoulder or upper arm? Bellew says if your answer is no, then he is not guilty.

If you answer yes you need to consider:
      2. Was the forceful contact made without Slater using or attempting to use both his arms including his hands to tackle or otherwise take hold of the opposing player.

Not only them...Keary will need a razor wire cage to play in, with only head and arms protruding.
Burgess got him last season or this season...but get him he did.

From the blog on nrl.com -

7.42pm: Judiciary chairman Geoff Bellew has asked panel members to consider the following.

                1. Was there forceful contact with the shoulder or upper arm? Bellew says if your answer is no, then he is not guilty.

If you answer yes you need to consider:

7.35pm: Bellew has recalled everyone, and is telling the panel members that the emotion around Slater and the fact it's a grand final on the line needs to be completely irrelevant in their determination.

Based on that surely he’s guilty.

Well they allowed a Souths shorts sponsor to sit on Latrells hearing.

Napa will be allowed to headbutt or shoulder charge Cameron Smith, as long as his hand makes first contact.

I imagine Napa's shoulder - sorry, I mean pec and hips - could do some serious damage to Munster or Smith...

You know that if Napa as much as sneezes, he will be binned by Sutton.

                              • The fact that it's taking so long tells me that they are finding away to get him off.

From memory the Latrell decision took approx. 10mins.

IMO there is nothing complicated about the shoulder charge. You just can't do it. What's there to debate about?
