C Smith reckons it's all ok since the blatant shoulder charge didn't injure anyone.
Full speed at Feki's shoulder and he left field shortly thereafter due to well and truly farked shoulder.

Slater and Smith think us lot were born yesterday. Smug pricks.

We all know Slater will get off the shoulder charge. It's the inept NRL after all. Slater's name already engraved on the Clive Churchill Medal just after Origin concluded....

We can’t show you this players face as this was a obvious shoulder charge that the match review committee decided to let go because of the player in question. Expect anything from the NRL..... who have become the most inept administration since the games inception in 1908. Todd Greenburg has proven time and time again that he is way out of his depth. Please some organisation somewhere give him a job so he can move as far away from Rugby League as possible

Breaking News: Rather than reviewing the souffs finding overnight, greenturd in wanting now show consistency, has changed the rules mid season to create the “Mal meninga common sense prevails” rule.

greenturd in his newfound passion to stamp out inconsistencies stated he will attend the judiciary on Tuesday.

it is believed mal’s rule was applied in the burgearse case with mal quoted as saying “common sense dictates boys do love to have public nudity shows and have a passion for block buster film making”

it it is believed cam smith, billy slater, souffs players,ch 9 and fox warmly embrace this new nrl direction

the game is no longer governed by rules

NRL the game where we just make it up as we go
Consistency??? They have not reported or sin binned a player all year for doing that in a try scoring situation.
Its not right but they have been consistent with that

The NRL has its own agenda!

                He will play.

Of course he will. No doubt.
we have had a host of excuses played out. Fact is he should play - he is a champion and deserves his farewell and GF. But many such as Ricko, blocker and others were also denied this privilege for being judged breaking the rules. And billy broke the rules imho with this tackle.

Billys career has history of failure to act by powers that be. Protected, many word say. Sad fact is some more protected than others. Inequality.

we have whole host of excuses and reasons not to charge from hand in the tackle, no one hurt, to mal’s common sense, to no time to react.

as joey Read out last night, the rules clearly state what constitutes a shoulder charge and this constitutes a charge.

i hope he plays but that’s not the issue. This is a statement about equal justice and consistency.

Our game has been sullied by examples where rules are created mid season, ceo appears at judiciary meetings. Bulldogs hammered only for another to escape without any public disclosure of what happened.

regrettably the powers that be Are unlikely to act. Prove me wrong.

Perfect hit & not dangerous at all. Top player & without a doubt should be playing in the Gf next week against the Roosters, I hope.

Let the NRL decide, but it would be a nice way for Billy to go out. Motm performance in his last game at his home ground. Have loved watching him over the years and respected his selflessness.

It’s insane. If it’s anyone but Slater they would be charged. No question about it. How is he any different to Joe Blow when the rules are blatantly broken. All this crap from the media is pathetic. Cry me a river. They brought the rule in for a reason. They should adhere to it.

What’s to say he won’t be charged?

He will definitely be charged. But the judiciary committee will fall for the "i couldn't get my head outta the way" line and based on Mal's common sense approach he will be found not guilty

Under NRL rules, a player can be charged if the contact is forceful and the player did not use, or attempt to use, his arms (including his hands) to tackle or otherwise take hold of the opposing player. A grade one shoulder charge is worth 200 demerit points.
                                he should be gone
