The irony is that a shoulder might keep
him from playing another important game.

Really don't think there's a suspension in that. Bit ridiculous.

I'd be livid if Teddy missed a GF for that.

My only issue is that Teddy probably wouldn't get off. Where as Slater will 100% beat the charge.

Cause of momentum his arm swung up after the shoulder charge. The still photo shows nothing. If he used his arm he would have said so after the match but he didn’t. Shame for him to miss a GF for this but the stupid NRL rules mean he should.

I want Slater to play because I want them at their best. I’m confident the mighty Roosters can beat Melbourne with the Roosters at full strength. They defend like that next week & then you add the X factor Latrell, look out Melbourne.

Yep and if you see the same pic at the same time from the side, his arm isn’t wrapping around, it’s actually out in front. The pic is a deceptive one and desperate argument.

Billy is the best fullback I've ever seen and a future immortal. Taking emotion out of the equation with it being his last game , that by the letter of the law was a shoulder charge though I'm not expecting the league to suspend him.

First contact was flush with the shoulder and nothing else, don't delude yourself he's gone.
And suck shit too, anyway where's all this melb love for? I want them as weak as possible, we'll need it.

I understand all that but the NRL would setting a very dangerous precedent if they have one set of rules for certain players and another set for the rest. This will test them

Certainly will, he should be suspended but I doubt he will

He should get off and rightly so.

Let's beat them at full strength.

By the letter of the law he won’t get off the charge, clear shoulder charge..

Although I don’t agree with the technicality of the rule unfortunately it is policed that way..

I didn’t agree with the severity of the Napa suspension considering he got off the first time, but that’s the way it goes!
