    • Didn’t Kane Evans go to the judiciary last year for a shoulder charge & get let off?
The NRL have a no shoulder charge rule but the 3 blokes who sit on the judiciary are ex players who see things differently.

It’s not the NRL who will let him off it will be the 3 ex players on the panel that will let him off.

It’s all about the arm. Did Kane have his arm away from his body?

            • I just reckon we're going to do the Storm. I'm never optimistic but really feels like we're about to peak.

The judiciary will be called out publicly by the family of the dead player if they don’t play by their own rules and maker a special exemption for Slater. So will other clubs. We’ve had 2 players suspended for a preliminary final - so what. We broke the rules and paid the penalty. So why should slater go free?
Good post Yes the family of the deceased guy have really put the heat on nrl and judiciary in the process giving those on fox an almighty and deserved gob full

James Ackerman, the footballer tragically killed three years ago as the result of a shoulder charge.

                  • Buzz has now put his 2 cents worth in claiming Slater put his right arm across the front of Feki hence he was attempting to make a legal tackle. What BS! Have to watch NRL360 tonight to get more info. Just hope someone stands up to him to make an argument out if it.

Peter Tunks calling it not a proper shoulder charge and Billy should play, these people are delusional..

                        • The rule referring to the use of arm or hand refers to the arm connected to the shoulder in question not the other arm as far as I understand.
                          Guilty as charged....
With trial by media, obviously the popular decision will be not-guilty which will show what a farce the Greenburg era has been.

With a passion mate, tipped against us the last 3 weeks and refuses to say anything positive about us..

He mentioned as an impartial supporter Billy will get off,not sure how he is impartial when he clearly has a hidden agenda against our Club!

Tipped Parra against us? That's impressive.

What I don't understand is how Billy wasn't given 10 in the bin. Clear cut penalty in a try scoring situation. I think the game was still competitive at that stage? Might have gone differently if the Storm had been playing with 12 men for a while.
