  • Slater is a cat with 9 lives so he will be using one of those lives to get off.

If he get's off it will confirm some peeps belief that the NRL is rigged. All their concern is $$$$$ and billy puts bums on seats.

If he get's off and cronk is missing as expected then unfortunately it's a storm premiership.

    • Bob Linder is the first panel member to arrive. a queenslander.

      • Ben Ikin has a great take on the incident..

"To be honest with you, when I was watching the match live, less than a second after he made the play, my concern was he won't be there come grand final day.

"The way that the rule is written now, and it was tightened up before the last season kicked off.

"They're going to have to argue some nuance in an around how he first contacted Feki, but Billy is leaning forward and his intent is shown early.

"I've broken it down and looked at certain stills - he starts to turn with his left shoulder to make that his first point of contact.

"He continues at a forceful speed - as does Feki mind you, so there's no doubting that there's an intent from Billy to brace.

"But by the way the rule is written at the moment, it's going to have to be a very, very clever argument made by the Melbourne Storm defence lawyer for Billy to play on Sunday, that's for sure."

        • Sean Garlick, Bob Lindner and Mal Cochrane judiciary panel members to decide if Billy Slater plays in the grand final.

so no Dallas Johnson apparently he was booted after being quoted in the Cairns press earlier in the week stating that Slater should be free to play in the GF.

          • OMG I was just watching the Fox program with Y Sampson and Ennis and there’s bnodhead Tallis going on about how Slater helps kids blah blah and he should be allowed to play. Mick shakes his head like saying- ‘”I can’t talk to this guy... FOFF Tallis!’”-

            • lol at the idiots on NRL Tonight they think Garlick will be prejudiced as he was a former Roosters Captain, they obviously have no idea of his history.

              • The fact that Dallas Johnson, as a potential panellist, felt it appropriate to come out and say that he hopes he gets off shows what a farce the whole process is.

Lindner, an old school Qld legend, on the panel. Now gee I wonder which way he'll lean.

                This is a scam.

                • I can’t believe Snozzy Daley keeps saying Billy had no intent when he collided with Feki, yet Billy’s face right before impact clearly shows a face with anger and intent..

I must be blinded or Laurie’s nose is affecting his sight.

it was a sham from the moment he did the shoulder charge, apparently the NRL has now admitted he should of been sin binned (and somehow Sutton still is the lead GF ref), even when he was charged almost everyone expected him to be cleared.

If the NRL are saying he should have been sin binned, then it is admitting that the tackle was a shoulder charge. The only way he can get off is our eyes are all defective and it was not a shoulder charge.

Let me tell you, you wouldn’t get the same sentiment from their fans if it was one of ours. Stuff him. He broke the rules and now should pay. We get robbed time after time so I’m happy for one to go in our favor for once.

he will get off due to a technicality revolving around his right hand making first contact with Feki.

                              • If the nrl can accept a decision from the burgearse investigation where 3/5 decision makers has vested interest in souffs, then why wouldn’t they stack the judiciary with ex storm and Queenslanders?

                                rafferty rulesr

2/3 majority qlders.. has any former qlder come forward in media to say slater guilty?

Sean Garlick, Bob Lindner and Mal Cochrane. Nrl putting these panel members in an unenviable position
