  • We knew it was going to happen. But that just takes away their excuse when they lose. Teddy will be extra motivated to outplay Slater.

But I'm looking forward to Napa in this one. He's fresh, he's focused and he'll be more than dangerous. Dylan is the big outsider that nobody is talking much about. I think after the grand final they all will be.

The NRL still penalised the tackle and handed down the one match suspension.

That's the kicker in all this... that it's not even an NRL ruling.

I look forward to Greenburg’s frame by frame video explanation, presumably validating all three of these defences.
He ain't explaining jackshit. Greenbog will just say ...
Look we've had a process and that process resulted in an almost 3 hour hearing including 1 hour of deliberations which shows just how seriously we take this, we can't please everyone but in this instance , like all instances, the player is afforded an opportunity to present their case and argue their case to an experienced panel of ex players which we feel and the majority feel is the fairest way to adjuticate on these things.. it's never going to be perfect but nothing in life is, the process works and the process has carefully come to this decision. We are not in the business of pleasing everyone but we are in the business of seeing that everyone gets a fair and balanced hearing and goes through a process. And now it's time to move on. We've got the Dally m tonight, the grand final lunch tomorrow, and the pinnacle of our game on the weekend and that is what we should not be turning our focus to and celebrating.

        Wanka.

        • The judiciary system must be reviewed. Don’t leave decisions like these solely in the hands of ex-players who have limited intelligence, are compromised by club, state or personal affiliations (or sponsorships), and may have axes to grind.

          • NRL JUDICIARY.
            Who appoints the panel?
Why did Greenburg turn up to Latrell's hearing?

Who employs and appoints the referees?

The NRL was a joke long before tonite.

            Boo them all on Sunday.

What are your thoughts on the NRL using their 3rd choice prosecutor for this? A rookie at NRL judicial hearings in charge of the biggest hearing in history.

              That stinks to its core.

                  Thats it Louis.

And I will take that a step further and say if he WAS suspended for the GF, the pendulum swings to them in the attitude/desire stakes, and we would have mentally relaxed a little.

Now we maintain or perhaps even intensify that desire.

                  They have no excuses .....Perfect.

                        • It's the decision that was predicted and we can't change that .We aren't out of it yet and still have a good chance on the back of our defence which has been our cornerstone all year. We have to keep it down to a 3 or 4 try game maximum . We have plenty of strike power with the likes of Mitchell, Manu and Teddy with the ability to pull out something special to snag a try.
I know Robbo and the boys will still think we are capable of winning.
