  • Roosters v Dragons NRLW

So the footy gods have favoured us and if we win the early game today the girls will go into the GF.

If we win by 1 point we'll be equal with the Dragons on F&A and I'm not sure how the teams are separated.

A few changes in the team with the big one being Maddie Studdon moved to the bench with Zahara Temara moving from lock to half. I believe Zahara normally plays in the halves.

Simiana Taufa is playing on one leg and Ruan Sims with a broken thumb I think.

Hoping we'll get both men's and women's teams into the GF.

Game starts at 5.10 at the SFS tonight and a bit of support could be the difference between us winning and losing.

      lol.....

Couldn't Napa also serve his suspension for this game, saying this one would have been one of his girly efforts?

      hahaha.....

Well that may be, Axe, but I know that you will be there cheering the girls on!

Good to hear you're giving it a go, Thirteen. Knew you'd come around.

Yes I’ll be there for kickoff. As I’ve said I’ll support anyone in a Roosters jersey.

Having both men’s and women’s teams playing on GF day would be great....

I'm hearing that Isabelle Kelly will be a late scratching as she will be playing at left centre in the later game tonight.
Kelly and Toops will kill it on that side.

all those changes seemed to have worked, playing much better today.

3 tries to the winger in first 11 minutes.

Just announced fastest hatrick in the history of women’s football. All 3 weeks of it.

                            Confession:

I stated in a previous thread that a side of Under 12s could beat the girls. After watching a live game I admit I was wrong. A bunch of Under 10s could beat the girls.

Anyway they are smashing The Saints 20 nil with 13 to go. They haven’t kicked a goal all night. We’re off to The Big Dance. YEY!

Congratulations to the Roosters women's team on making the gf. Strong performance by the girls. Time for the boys to do the same
