Don't they have some magic elixer they can pump into the shoulder to make it spin around and up and down?
This is our big chance to win another premiership.
He must play.
Next year he'll be missing for most of it anyway.
Tell him he'll get all his contract money even if he doesn't play another game.

It's rotten luck and we knew Burgess would be the man assigned to Cronk and he landed really hard on the shoulder with 115 kg on top. Burgess was always trying to take Pearcey's head off when we played them. So glad we knocked them out of it.
We can still win this. I think we will. In fact we can win it 'for' Cooper. He's made a fantastic contribution and toughened up our whole attitude. This side is so much better for having him in it. Th e team will just have to remember all that he has given them in building and maintaining pressure. I know who'd be running the water if I was coaching. But we've matured and the boys are fired up for a big one. I think Napa is setting himself for an absolute blinder.
Their reasoning is that tendons attach muscle to bone (so the muscle can flex/extend) whereas ligaments attach bone to bone (i.e. they are supportive). I am pretty sure GI just cut the ligaments in his knee off and straps them instead because they are difficult to operate on and in the NRL's opinion, lotsa tape + a jab is an adequate replacement. I guess if you are earning $1M a year there's an incentive... if I strained a muscle and suffered ligament damage I'd be in cotton wool for 12+ months.Last edited by ism22; 09-23-2018, 01:35 PM.

I know a GF is huge but you don't significantly risk our entire 2019 season by playing a 1 armed halfback.
