With Cronk apparently little chance of playing, a mate of mine suggested Latrell just go to 6, and the more I thought about it the more I liked it. Very similar to GI playing 6 when he was at the Storm, will certainly have more involved and he can throw a pass and kick the footy if required. What's the thoughts of others?

No chance.
I think Robbo has learnt from weaking several positions to cover for 1,which was shown last night by brining in Momo instead of putting Matto there.
LM isnt a halves rear end so if your doing that you may as well chuck young SOS in & keep LM where he should be so we can score some points

If Cronks out i say 100 % Latrell more ball he would be a nightmare for Melbs halves..has a kicking game he hasnt used since u20's.
keep momorovski in.
How i would do this.....if cronk can play.then ..start the ganes a say then bribg Cronk on..15 mins to go first half and so on.Maubs can help him and cover his defence and run off him so he doesnt get tackled.
We need his brains ...he didnt not shut up once during yesterday .Every aytack evert defensive moves he kept us awake. Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe

Of course I agree this is an option which should get serious thought, as I suggested in another thread earlier today. All year we have been saying give Latrell more ball. He is a better option than Matterson, and it means Momo stays in, with Keary at half , only one change. Napa comes back and Matterson or Collins drop out.

All the "No Chance' merchants would have been saying exactly the same thing if Momo was suggested as the centre replacement last week, which I suggested here early in the week. Cronk with one arm is a liability and he won't play unless he is 100%. Latrell is the most skilled option, he should play 5/8th in attack with Momo playing that position in defence.

Radley at half for mine, can do a lot of the first receiver distributing whilst Keary still assumes a lot of the 2nd receiver duties and Tedesco 3rd receiver in good ball zones.
Asking Latrell to play 2nd receiver and Keary 1st receiver would be a fundamental change to our attack on two fronts. No doubt Keary will need to step and do all the kicking and organising but at least our structure can remain the same once we get inside the oppositions 20. SOS must be named on the bench also, I know people will get mad at Robbo for it but it's a must in case Keary goes down or Radley fails miserably.

SOS would be the smartest option, similar to Cooper he is a good organiser with a smart passing and kicking game..
Both players aren’t blessed with speed and an individual running game but both are perfect link men for our Ferrari’s in the backline..
