I don't think many would disagree that Manu has, perhaps alongside Teddy, been our best player in the 2nd half of the season.

His improvement from season 1 to season 2 has been nothing short of extraordinary. It shows he has a great work ethic.

Great kid and yes very humble 007. I still think he’s consciously stepped up after those signings for next year. Shows that he has a fighting spirit. His control of GI was exceptional!

One thing though and I’ve heard this from a few sources, mainly dogs fans, is that they’re trying to sign him up. I have no clue if his contract with us BUT i hope we’re not silly to let him get away. Has anyone heard about this rumour?

Of course there would be other clubs looking at signing him.

No chance. Asking for a release is also not behaviour indicative of young Manu. He's a respectful young bloke who loves the club.

Crazy to think he was dropped at the back end of last year and now would be a walk up start at right centre for probably every one of the 16 teams in the NRL.

This last couple of months he's really stepped up. He's always had a great step, but he's grown in confidence and has one of the best fends in the game. How good would it be if him and Latrell are Roosters for life?
