Last night was special. I don't think this year has been as good as 2013 was, but it's still been a great year to be a part of.
I'm proud of how Teddy has gone from being a talented youngster with plenty of potential to an out-and-out superstar. He will evolve into one of all time great fullbacks.
I'm proud of how Joey has come along in leaps and bounds since he was dropped for his defensive deficiencies at the end of last season, and has evolved into our secret weapon. That tackle he pulled off on Johnston last night was as good as any try he's ever scored.
I'm proud of how Cronk played his heart out with a badly busted wing for the majority of the match. He kept organising our structure, he kept aiming up in defence, and he kept performing the effort plays when he would've been in excruciating pain.
I'm proud of how Aubo continuously turns up and performs in our colours. The bloke deadset has never had a bad game in his career. He can play anywhere, any time; and his shot on Burgess last night showed he can still mix it with the best of them.
Overall, I'm proud of how this team has evolved over the course of the year. If you had told me after our Anzac day game that we would finish minor premiers and be playing in the grand final, I probably would've laughed at you.
Bravo Trent and the squad.
