Just checked... lots of tickets are still available in all categories.

Dead set. Here's the result when you rig the comp so that Slater and Smith can have a final victory dance together + pick up a heap of awards they have already received in previous years.

Watching them beat the Sharks was like okay first 30 minutes they have locked Sharks out using shoulder charges (directly blocking tries, one injuring a centre for the game) and off-sides (one directly preventing a try). Once the damage was done they switched off for 50 minutes and did nothing else. Booooring!!!

Melbourne likes Australian rules football!!!!!! Rigging the comp will not make them like it any more. None of my mates from Melbourne know or care about it... one was even more passionate than me about how Slater should be out. Like it or not when you rig a decision like that, it p!sses people off!!! I wanna see Slater play, but IMO the integrity of the game is way more important than seeing Billy Slater play.

IMO the way to get Melbourne to engage with the game isn't to rig it!!! They need to:
      - Get kids playing it in schools
      - Bring over some experimental players from the AFL who dazzle audiences with a different brand of footy (something like the Tigpies!!!! They don't win all the time but the are fun to watch!!!)
      - Develop players from the ground up rather than stealing the next generation of Brisbane stars
      - Have a few character building seasons... it is dead set boring when 1 team (particularly one that cheated the salary cap + gets odd decisions from the judiciary EVERY TIME) ALWAYS wins!!! You develop loyal fanbases by losing believe it or not!!! Roosters 'win more than their share' but have had some absolute shyte seasons that make ones like this soooo much better!!!

Our trump card could be that there will be no Melbourne fans there and (instead) a lot of people going 'BOOOOOOOOOO' when Slater shows his smug face, 'CMOOOOON REF!!!!!!' when he kicks/shoulder charges people, 'OFFSIDE REF!!!!' when Smith refuses to go back 10 and 'HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!' every time the drizzle fuk up. GET AS MANY ROOSTERS FANS THERE AS POSSIBLE!!!!! This is our home city!!!!

Can’t imagine they’d be too passionate. They have only been around for 20 years.

Have they picked anybody yet? TBH the pre-game song is so insignificant, as was Ricky Martin modifying his only successful song, which was only successful because it was a soccer anthem for the world cup.

IMO they should just can it. People show up for the footy, not the pre-game song (which I'm hoping to strategically arrive after).

If you've gotta do it then IMO just go call up Nikki Webster, Macaulay Culkin, Richard Clapton, an INXS cover band (aka INXS), The Wiggles, Buckethead and an Elvis impersonator... see who will perform for the least $$$. I would dig some mad Buckethead solos, all sponsored by KFC. Consider it guys!

I have three diamond tickets I'm selling, bought a second set when I discovered I could get closer seats by holding off. My first grand final attendance watching the Roosters so I wanted to be up close! I have them listed on Ticketmaster re-sale. If anyone is interested these are it section 410 Row 3: https://resale.ticketmaster.com.au/o...tionid=2388335

                              I have 2 x 4 tickets in a row (in 2 different sections)...so that's 8 tickets all up for sale.
The gold tickets are upper tier in lower section so you will be close to the ground and have a good aerial view. These are on the Rooster supporter side. The 4 tickets (in a row) are in section 121-2 and will be accepting $900.00 ono for the lot (all 4 tickets) or $250.00 each (sale price is $265.00 each). I am in the east and will be working late tonight (Sat) at a nightclub on Oxford street so possible to pick up late tonight or super early hours Sunday morning...till about 3:00am.The tickets are actual printed tickets (sent in the mail).
The second set of four tickets are cheaper ...also in Rooster supporter territory. Again, there are 4 tickets in a row (behind goal posts and close to ground)... I am accepting $600.00 ono for all four tickets or $175.00 each. The tickets are actual printed tickets (sent in the mail). Good luck.
