  • Am I the only one?

I feel strange. Every time I see Cronk on TV , whether playing or commenting, I just feel like he has been a Rooster for a long time, I never see the Melbourne in him, all I see is a Rooster legend even though he has been with us for only a year! Am I crazy? It's like he has worn the RWB all his life.

So, am I the only one feeling this?

It’s strange having an articulate No. 7

Yeah I hear you OMR..i think its because people instinctively "get" genuineness when they experience it.

Geez I sound a bit like Robbo but hope you know what I mean.

Cooper doesn't need time or support to be genuine to whatever he sets his heart on...he just is.

No, you're not the only one.

I wouldn't necessarily say I feel that he's been a Rooster forever, but I do feel that he's a wholehearted Rooster. If we win on Sunday he becomes a Roosters legend, even if - perhaps especially if - he doesn't play. The influence he's had on the team is there for all to see.

The reason I wanted Cooper in our team was because he is always professional without the grubby side that other storm players are famous for.

I think his wife is an absolute babe. Super hot and I confess I’ve watched the Fox Soccer show (on mute) just so I can see her.

Yep, true professional. I hope he continues with the club after retirement.

I think he was always an outsider at the Storm. I heard a rumor that he was on the market five years ago but we re-signed the dogboy instead. I think that will go in the list of bonehead decisions along with Ricky Stuart saying no to Thurston.

I'm with you buddy. The first thing i think of when it comes to Cronk is Tara, she is absolutely stunning. Mel Mcluaghlin comes a close 2nd.

No reason why he wouldn't. He moved to Sydney in the first place because of her.

Cronk fits perfectly with the culture and spirit Robbo has instilled in the club.
That's why it seems like he has been a Rooster for a long time.

I really like what Cronk's done for our club/team so far this season but I think that my opinion on Cronk will only be finalised when we win on Sunday

Are you aware that Ric Cronk. Cooper's father hails from the Eastern suburbs. He played for Bondi United and Copper's two older brothers were good board riders. His family moved to Brisbane prior to his birth.
So in a sense he's returned home to hie roots.

Yes Mel is a very close second. Who could blame Chris Gayle?!
