Booked the hotel in Sydney and was all set to go but I cannot give my money on the back of such obvious corruption or one sided favoritism. I know I will kick myself if the Roosters win and good on all those still going in support but I can still enjoy my weekend in Sydney, head to the leagues club and watch it there while spending my money in support of the Roosters only and NOT the NRL.
Btw... for those who are thinking of watching at the club, I was advised by them to get there very early as it’s going to be packed and kids will not be allowed after 3pm. I will be there on Sunday supporting my mighty Chooks. I believe we can win this GF even without Cronk. Our boys were great against Souths without Latrell and Napa. I will never give up on them. Everyone said we couldn’t beat Souths without Latrell. Now they say we can’t beat the Storm without Cronk. BS! We are a red hot side and last nights decision won’t affect how our guys play. I would be shocked and greatly surprised if we won because every unfair advantage has been given the Storm. They got the most penalties this year. Slater won Origin MOTS, he won against the judiciary and Storm, although coming 2nd get an extra days rest, why? We won the MP so we should have an extra day. It’s so tainted towards the storm it’s just about a foregone conclusion. I'm flying down from country Queensland with my son - having a day out at the Rocks (Octoberfest) on Saturday and then going to my first grand final.
Costing me a few grand for the weekend but wouldn't miss it for the world.There's a reason why the young and idealistic become the old and cynical.
