Dally M's further evidence of NRL Anti - Roosters bias

Apart from having to endure:
lopsided penalty counts all year
having to play the last two weeks against teams that should have had a player suspended, instead they get exonerated,
the whole media calling for blood after the napa and latrell tackles, then seeing them look for excuses and be totally supportive of the slater shoulder charge
Now the media softening the public up for a melbourne victory, despite the fact they only beat us by 1 last time, in a game where we had a whole bunch of players missing and we missed an important goal

On top of all this we finish minor premiers, we get only one player in the team of the year, and Latrell, who won us so many games doesn't even get a vote for best centre!

It’s a joke not a conspiracy. When Jackson is voted ahead of Frizzel and Leilua ahead of Mitchell and Smith as captain ahead of the SOO captain who led his team to minor premiership proves it a joke . Even Brooks ( whom I really like) to be voted third best player this year is a bigger joke.

More likely that you don't understand how the points system works. Only three players receive points. In a star-studded team like the Roosters, those points tend to get shared among more players during the season making it very difficult to win the Dally M. The winners end up being decent players in crap sides.

Note that Pearce nearly won the main prize despite only playing half the season. Ditto with Ponga.

Edit: I take back the crap sides comment. The points tend to go to the winning teams. So it has to be a team that still wins games but does not have a lot of stars.

That’s fine, but lelua was crap and missed alot of games, and latrell didn’t get a single vote

If you have a good team of players that all play well, you don't poll in the Dally Ms.

so what I would rather a good team of great players than a team of robots and 3 good players
