And don’t forget our new attack coach. 2019 could be even bigger for us.

          Rothfield returned to normal tonight.
Trying to undermine Crihtons return by saying he wont fit into our culture, and powers that be at the Roosters are unhappy with his attitude of late.
I reckon he makes stuff up over a few rums.

I can’t wait to see how Robbo changes it up. That’s the thing with pro sports these days you need to stick and move constantly.

With the defence set in stone our attack which I believe isn’t even out of second gear as yet is going to be something to behold over coming seasons.

Great times to be an Easts Man or Lady.

Robbo will have learned a lot from 2014.

I always believed that RTS should have been fullback in 2014 as part of the "evolve, improve or slide" philosophy.

In hindsight maybe Robbo feels the same but I'm sure that he'll continually seek to improve our team.

The good news is that we peaked and won in 2013. This team only clicked in attack come GF day so there's bucketloads of improvement.

And Cronk is such a maniacal ruthless winning machine that he'll keep the foot down and we'll try and send him out a winner.

We ended up having a great finish to the year, but lets not forget we had a very advantageous draw this year, hardly playing any of the good sides twice, because of our poor season in 2017. All that changes next year, we play all the heavy hitters twice, and have the added pressure of being the premiers, who sides like to really aim up against them. But all things considered, we should go close again in 2019, lets hope the boys have a good offseason, and return to preseason training all revved up, and ready to go.

Poor season in 2017? Minor premiers and playing the PF is poor? Seriously???

We beat the top four to win the gf regardless of the regular season draw we finished all over the top of the best sides in the comp.

I suspect you are confusing 2017 with 2016. Your point is still valid in regards to a seemingly easier draw. How it panned out in reality though is we played "weak" teams like Dragons/Warriors/Souths twice, and "strong" teams like Cowboys/Eels once.

NRL don't like teams with strong SOO representation to play each other twice and I doubt that will change next year.

Well said dice. Whilst it was said at the start of the season that the Roosters had an easy draw, it didn't turn out that way as the season progressed.

It will be interesting to see what Robbo does to mix things up and sharpen the saw in 2019.

Apparently the Sharks have an epic rivalry with the Storm. No, News Ltd didn't just make that one up

IMO we have a bad habit of losing to ordinary teams because we over-think their tactics and can't work out how to defeat their plan (because there often is no plan).

Also, physical teams with simple tactics often beat us by out-muscling us. If by fluke they get up early, they can be difficult to catch because they hang onto the ball, make no errors and slow down our attack big time causing frstration.

2017 the Storm were MPs, not us. It wasn't poor how we beat Brisbane to make the PF. What was poor was that we lost to such poor competition in the PF. It was a frustrating result because the Cows were nowhere near the team we were and handed the Drizzle a free premiership on a plate when we coulda given them a run for their money.
