Maubs, how bloody good was he, his defence and protection of Cronk was unbelievable, does this machine ever miss a tackle. I know of one Chookpen member would have blown a load on Maubs performance, unfortunately he will be comatosed after consuming all his home brew.

It was hilarious because I kept yelling out 'GOOOOO CRONK!!! He's playing like a forward with that busted shoulder!' when he did good stuff, then I was like 'lol wait no Maubs is #7 ay!!! That's just weird...'

Loved it at the end when the medals were being handed out. They went 1-6 then Maubs started walking forward when it came to #7, then stopped + walked back when they said 'the amazing Cooper Cronk'. I found it funny.

    But yes, Maubs was amazing!!!

He was excellent. It seems that other sides think he could be a weak-link, being a smaller body for a forward. But he almost always makes them pay. Run at Aubo at your own peril. Great defensive technique.

Aubbo...great club man and the stuff premierships are built on. From juniors onward he's been a good-un.

Obviously Keary was the best on ground. But for me, the effort of jwh and maubs was defining. If we were to win we really needed our leaded in jwh to step up and maubs was just everywhere. The ultimate rock of this side.

You'll get your wish I reckon. Maubs will never pull on another clubs jersey.

Not forgotten by me, my man love of Maubs has gone to new levels after last night.

There were times I'm sure I saw Maubs deadset moving in front of Cronkite to stop em getting at him. Manu as well.

also JWH. there was one tackle, i think it was from an offload or something, but they were running straight at Cronk. JWH came from nowhere to get in front of Coops to make the tackle.
