We'll never know if we would have won if Cronk hadn't played. We do know that we won with him playing. The fact that he was given a standing ovation by all the players in the dressing room suggests the players found him inspirational.

Hard not to be in awe of a bloke who takes the field with a busted shoulder and helps his team win the comp. I'm more than happy to blow smoke up his arse.

But every player in the 17 did their job and Keary was huge.

Coaching at its best right there.

I wont play cards against him.
Good thinking Jack. Last time you played cards at Thommo's you did your five hundred quid Newtown contract cold.

Looking at it objectively Cronk did have the most recent laugh over Smiff but I am not going to say is he better, but he sure is a better human being.

Looking at his record, I don't think Qld lost a series with him at number 7.

He has also made it to 8 GFs, and won 5 of them at two different clubs. (2 of those the premierships were stripped).

That is a remarkable record for a number 7........

Who says he won't make 9 and win 6?..........

Cooper is more than a half and more than an on-field coach in a GF. He's also a mentor to the young players and those that are struggling to find form. Manu and Fergo were great examples ..He inspired those that took the field and he guided the players. Sure Keary did it all but the little voice inside his head was Cooper all the way.
