We will be celebrating this win for a while yet but was thinking about this today.
If Cronk retires and with the loss of Fergo, can we win the comp next year ? Could we win with Lamb & Keary at 6/7 plust the addition of Crichton,Morris and the unkown quantity Hall ??? I believe we can as the foundations are well and truly there and Keary seems to have gone to new heights. Also Brock Lamb actually does have ability and i think he can play extremely well with Cronks help and our system we have in place

Cronk's injury has a recovery time of a couple of months doesn't it? He should be back. Give him an extended break during the early off season, maybe have him around coaching the younger players a bit if he's keen. Then in the new year he can come back and train the house down, ready for the new season

I will be devastated if Cronk doesn't play next year.
Brocklamb or Lachlam might be okay in 2020, but atm one's a reserve grader and the other's an under age footballer.

For one million he will play in a sling .It wouldnt surprise me though if he reired now.

I reckon Cronk will see out his contract. His job aint finished yet as we're yet to have a succession plan in place.
Norths games will be very interesting next season watching who gets the number 7 jersey.

I think that Cronk has showed over the last week that he is pretty dedicated and loyal. He has a contract for next year. So why would anyone think he is retiring?
Next year he will show Melbourne how to do it back-to-back.

Cronks job is not done yet, he has one more career to end on a losing note, C Smith. Hopefully the raindrops make the final dance with us again next year, how much motivation do you think Cronk will need to smash Smith in the last game, none, I know I would not need much motivation to get one over that plonker Smith.
