Hi everyone, this season has inspired me to upload the only video I’ll ever put on youtube. Just a montage of our best moments from this year. Enjoy. https://youtu.be/5pIyMSda2t4

Agreed. IMO it's emphatic because it marks the end of a long, painful era (during which time we have ironically won 3 premierships - not bad in hindsight!!) So much effort has been put into trying to make sure the bloody Melbourne franchise succeeds and they've all stuck together so smugly that it sickens most people.

It's the first time in this period that I've seen the Storm completely lose their cool. But for one try (that we gave them for free), the Storm did not score. Neither did Souffs last week! Perfecting two finals like that took something special and IMO a lot of it came down to what our boys did without the ball. Yeah we all love big hits and stuff but both games were purely mind games where we simply plugged every hole and (on both occasions) prevented them from building any real pressure/momentum in attack.

At some stage I'd like to see a technical analysis of Cronk's work off the ball during both games because IMO it gave a really rare insight into how much influence he has when he's not passing, kicking, running...etc. Both were odd games because I remaine fixated on how he was zipping around the field, directing all of our defensive plays (without stepping on the toes of our two captains).

While so-called purists will say that today's game is nothing like the 80's... IMO the modern game is much more of a tactical/mind game and that's what I like. The GF was the single best mental and defensive performance I have seen from a rugby league team to date.

Features the rare second verse of Roosterman. Worth the watch just for that.
