IMO it's gonna come down to whether Cook or Hunt plays hooker.

TBH I reckon Mal should be considering dumping DCPE, Hunt and Munster. None of them have been great!

One major difference between Keary and Hunt is that when the pressure is on Hunt chokes and Keary rises to the occasion.
It should be a no brainer. Also it would create a Roosters left edge with Keary there and surely even Mal could see how deadly that is?

Little theory to put out there...

Cronk made all the headlines but Keary got man of the match in the GF, did all the physical work, nailed a crucial drop-goal and earned a Kangaroos jersey.

When Keary sent that letter to the NRL (possibly after getting a big nudge from QLD selectors) he'd played very little NRL and I thought he was making a mockery of himself because he had buckleys of being picked for QLD or NSW (i.e. reach Origin standard, get picked and THEN write the letter).

As always, coaches and insiders know much more about which players have the cojones to make rep teams. Maybe our recruitment and retention team should start drafting a long-term contract for Keary before he becomes Australia and NSW's long-term 5/8? Damn lucky we got that extension to 2021 before this all happened!!!
