Ahhh feels like only yesterday we were 4-4 and had Kong Salvo demanding Robbo be fired and complaining we didn’t have enough depth to go all the way
Where is Queen Sally? I don't believe I've seen a post from him since our GF glory. Maybe I've missed his congratulations to Robbo and co for their coaching masterclass
Supporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.
Well thats a good theory backwards but there's more to it than the coach knowing about block games otherwise we would have won before this year. Lets not dismiss the change in personnel and in particular one player which not only brought his vast years of success experience but also a new mindset of professionalism which spread to the other players who for years looked tired and clueless when dealing with adversity at the most crucial times of the season.
Of course there is more to the season mate. I was just using that as an example to topjoe about when we started to improve.
The early block of 8 weeks is where we recorded the majority of our losses, as was Melbas.
In fact I haven't checked but in each of our seasons under Robbo, bar 16 of course, we seem to have followed a similar formula. Actually in 16 we began with 8 losses straight.
Always improving and starting slowly. Foundation Defence knowing the potential is there for the attack.
We also have won before this year. 2013 the season was very similar in structure.
Early patchy form, consolidate during the rep period, roll home with that taper of dropping a couple of close ones to peak when it counted, September.
Point being from start to finish constant improvement.
If you look you can see what the coach tries to do. It doesn't always go to plan. Form, suspensions and injuries cruel the best laid plans.
But Robbo uses the same formula each season. Sure he changes shit up constantly. But the structure is there...…….Defence then improve to a peak where we are unstoppable basically.
I personally love watching the way he unravels a season. No flukes. Hard work and constant improvement.

Next season will be a ripper IMO.
Beauty mate! If Cronk is there I'm sure we can go back to to back because Cooper will want to break that back to back hoodoo before he retires because he's going to get all the players and more focused for the whole season...
Still GF rings beat any shitty medal voted by journos and bias wankers.
I was thinking the same... if we didn't win the GF, I'm not going to go around saying 'Latrell was voted the best centre or Robbo voted the best coach..." that's just loser talk. We are the champions...my friend!
