For me apart from the obvious victory is the crowd. For a team whose supporters are much maligned and unfairly branded , we were awesome and the scenes after the final whistle will live in my memory till I depart this world. Thank you fellow supporters and hope we continue to turn up and cheer on the mighty roosters.

Besides the teams performance on the night, and I've mentioned this to family and friends, I've been to 7 of our GFs since 2002 and I have never heard a more engaged and vocal Roosters crowd than this one. For a much maligned support group, we stuck it to the media and other fans like never before. The passion was on a level I have never seen in both the Souths and Storm final games.Exonerate the West Memphis Three - www.wm3.org

2. Our high completion rate.
3. The fact we frustrated the Storm and (in particular) got on Munster's nerves, leading to him being sent off twice.
4. How we dominated the stadium as fans and made it a cauldron (haven't seen us do that much!!)
5. The fact so many of our players are young Roosters who have gone through our systems. Idiots will say we buy everybody but I mean... really the only two players we actively poached were Cronk and Teddy. IMO if guys like Manu and Radley didn't perform like stars, we wouldn't have won the GF. Simple as that.Last edited by ism22; 10-18-2018, 01:22 PM.

When you hear about hitting peakness for the final game then our game epitomised peakness.
Every player was on. Every player performed to their ultimate level.
We looked so much stonger and more focused than the opposition.
Trent and the coaching staff as well as the performance and fitness guys did a massive job preparing the team.
The butthurt of the opposition supporters was also a highlight. The amount of times I saw #foreverinourshadow on social media made me smile every time.

Our rushing defence and the way it frustrated the Storm was a highlight for me.
Also the all-in team mentality and the way they managed to conjure up a game plan around an obviously injured Coops, which allowed him to move around constantly so couldn't be targeted by the Storm. When you consider he only made the decision he could play at the last minute, the fact they managed this as well as they did speaks volumes for the team effort that was put in. Special mention to Joey and Maubs who basically stood in front of Coops in defensive line and were rarely broken.Supporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.

The 1/2 time scoreline due to our Defence and the feeling of knowing it was ours to lose.
And then thinking to myself what must have been going thru Sluter, Smiff and Bellyaches minds.
The double bluff our coach called it. We destroyed those carnts minds by 1/2 time. Can you dig it.
The FlogPen .
You know it makes sense.

The whole weekend was a highlite.
traveled down with my son (A Broncos fan) from Country Queensland for my first grand final.
We had a big Octoberfest at the Rocks on Saturday Night.
We went on the Roosters Harbour cruise on Sunday afternoon then to the game.
the atmosphere was great - I've been to about 6 State of Origin sat Lang Park - this beat those games hands down.
It's something I'll remember the rest of my life.
I asked my son if he wants to change to Roosters from Broncos now - he said not a chance; he said we'll see you at Grand FInal next year (may happen)
There's a reason why the young and idealistic become the old and cynical.
It's called experience.
