    1. Agree OMR the crowd experience was incredible...esp for such a soul-less and poorly supported club.

    2. The self belief of the players. A lot of teams/players are beaten mentally playing Cam Smith in big games. We respected them but never doubted ourselves. When talent, self-belief and a shared goal meet you just win.

Not taking anything away from us but I still can't believe how the Strom just weren't at our level. Dropping balls from hitups, and latrell scoring so easily. They were cooked from kickoff.

The fans the week before against Souffs were amazing. I have to ask where they are during the season though - the Sydney ones that is.

Did we drop the ball once?

NRL stats has us down for 6 errors but from memory none of them were genuine errors, just incidents like Fergo batting the ball back in field with a foot in touch and Manu failing to grab the grubber.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but I can't recall one genuine dropped ball.

So to save by far our best game - or anyone's best game - for the GF was a truly monumental achievement. It's hands down the best performance I've seen by any team in a GF.

Also the crowd atmosphere was befitting of the teams performance. We have a very passionate fan base and nothing looks as good as a sea of RWB at a GF.

We played with 12 players plus 1/3 of one BUT a very important one. Has that EVER happened before for over 1.5 games in the finals or any other game? This shows where our players focused was at!!! This will never happen again!

I think our team is underestimated when it comes to their toughness.

All three finals wins were tough matches and we came out well on top in all three games.

There was a moment at the end as the team walked around the ground along the fence line... Cronk and Robbo were walking together chatting in good spirits etc ahead of the rest. As they walked past me, they both turned around to wait for the pack and Cronk was nudging Robbo pointing to some of the younger guys celebrating with the fans.. They were smiling so much with genuine joy for the young guys and you could tell Cronk was so happy to be able to give them that feeling... So selfless and such an amazing young man..

Beating the muzzle with 12 fit players
our forwards are who had copped flak all year smashing their pack
the passion of the Roosters crowd
shoving it up all the experts that wrote us off

                      1. Seeing Cords and Jake lift the trophy.
                      2. Luke icing the field goal
                      3. Toops try (he is probably the nicest player I've ever met)

Just watched the replay on Fox for the umpteen time. Probably gonna watch it another thousand times!!!!

I can't help but be impressed by the leadership at our club.

Uncle Nick & Robbo have built this club into a regular powerhouse.

The class & commitment shown by those who follow these two men speaks huge volume of their leadership.

For Robbo never to deviate from his course despite all the criticism he received and for Nick to back him with a 5yr deal when so many were calling for a Cleary or Green replacement tells you all you need to know about the conviction of each.

So happy for both when that final siren went and so impressed by what they have turned our club in to.

Boyd and Jake going up on stage. The rest of the team had gone up, then the captains got called up. They looked at each other, shared a look then put arms around each other and walked up onto the stage. They just looked like best friends. So good to have captains like that

The 1st half was unlike anything i had seen from a Roosters team they all played, the crowd being in the middle of the roosters fans was quite the experience and we silenced all those who wrote us off pre-game. Personally i had never felt so relaxed and confident heading into a game like this looking back on it now just makes that sweeter.
